For the 2022 model year, Nissan has redesigned its staple midsize SUV. The 2022 Nissan Pathfinder now boasts larger interior space, a rugged, yet sophisticated new design--inside and out, and loads of new technology features. Follow along as Ron Marhofer Nissan guides you through what’s new on the redesigned 2022 Nissan Pathfinder, arriving at Ron Marhofer Nissan this summer!
A Bold New Look
The all-new Nissan Pathfinder receives its first full redesign since 2013 for the 2022 model year. The exterior features new modern LED headlights, with signature LED accent lights, a floating roof design, brawny proportions, and an all-new design. Stepping inside the new Nissan Pathfinder and you will find a truly revolutionary interior design from Nissan. The quality of materials has been improved as well as the amount of space inside. Total passenger volume has increased from 154 cubic feet on the outgoing Pathfinder, to a larger 164.6 cubic feet on the new Pathfinder. Though pricing has not been released yet for the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder, the trim levels offered include S, SV, SL, Platinum. Heads will be sure to turn when cruising around Cuyahoga Falls in this stellar midsize SUV.
New Stand-Out Features
Nissan designed the all-new Pathfinder to be a “multi-tool on wheels,” meaning it is a truly capable SUV. The new intelligent 4x4 drivetrain, with Terrain and Drive Mode Selector and a 9-speed automatic transmission pair nicely with the Pathfinder’s 3.5-liter V6, which makes 284 horsepower and 259 pound-feet of torque. The 2022 Pathfinder now is able to tow up to 6,000 pounds, giving it one of the best-in-class numbers. When inside the new Pathfinder, one of the biggest improvements from the outgoing is its improved size. Being the first Nissan Pathfinder to seat up to eight passengers, Nissan was able to make generous improvements in passenger and cargo volume. The Pathfinder now has best-in-class front leg room of 44.3 inches, an additional 5 inches of third-row hiproom, and 80.5 cubic feet of cargo space with rear seats folded. Access to the third row has been greatly improved thanks to Nissan’s EZ FLEX one-touch seating, which pitches the seats forward allowing wide access to the third row on either the driver or passenger side. Akron families will love the ample room provided by the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder
Safety and Connectivity
The all-new Nissan Pathfinder brings a suite of new technology to the table. Standout connectivity features include a standard 9-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, an available wireless smartphone charging station, and an available Bose Premium Audio System. A 12.3-inch Digital Dashboard, which is a driver-oriented head-up display, gives you all the info you need while still keeping your eyes on the road. Safety is a number one priority in the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder, thanks to the Safety Shield 360 suite. The six standard safety features bundled in Safety Shield 360 include:
- Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Braking
- Rear Automatic Braking
- Rear Cross Traffic Alert
- Blind Spot Warning
- Lane Departure Warning
- High Beam Assist
For added safety, the new Nissan Pathfinder has available Intelligent Lane Intervention and Blind Spot Intervention for enhanced security. Know you and your family will be well protected in the new Pathfinder
